In the second deal of the off season, the Front Bortles stays active by sending Brandin Cooks to GM Casey Holbrook of Touchdown Syndrome. For the Patriot, Austin Carter added even more depth to his team, trying to strike it rich with young receivers. The trio of Kevin White, Davante Parker and Tevin Coleman finds it’s new landing spot with Front Bortles, and most of the trio will be fighting for snaps on the field.

Carter, intrigued by Kevin White’s upside, didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger. Carter cites White’s upside, along with getting proven options to fill holes in his roster with the likes of Coleman and Parker. Parker, first round draft pick in 2015, has started to hit stride in Miami, and looks to take even more of Jarvis Landry’s work in South Beach.

Holbrook is looking to make another push come playoff time, however the addition of Cooks could be null and void come that time. Cooks will have to compete for a starting job amongs a stacked WR core including A. J. Green, Antonio Brown, Stefon Diggs and others.
